What we do?
The Crusade
Under the motto "Draw a Smile", this crusade aims at seeking that each of us will freely take on the mission to do something for the community, for one's neighbour, for the others, for those in need, through specific or spiritual help, somehow changing that person's day, and maybe even his/her or other people's lives. What's important behind this idea of "the small, big gesture" is what it means to the receiver and that it's been offered with love.
The reason for this initiative is that it's exactly those little gestures which make a person big. There are many reasons - work is one of them - why we often postpone this type of concrete activities.
Choosing a specific day to do something for others will enable us to prepare for the task, focus on the need and put our hands to work. The day after, the world will have changed: it will be certainly a bit better. We will have contributed to that (and will have even made new friends for July 20th - Friend's Day in Argentina).
We are convinced that by embracing this commitment with strength, responsibility, perseverance and a true sense of helping a good cause, the first smile we will draw is our own.
That is why July 19th will be the "Day of the Small, Big Gesture". On that day, you can draw a smile and become a hero to somebody in need. And you'll see how GOOD it feels.
